Coleman’s Camp was initiated and developed specifically for Prairie Elementary students in collaboration with Prairie Elementary parents who desired a quality enrichment program that far exceeded the traditional tutoring sessions offered by Mr. Coleman. Coleman’s Camp is structured to be a student-centered, adaptive, and highly engaging environment to deepen student character, intellect, behavior, and peer community.

Coleman's Camp - Weekly Journal Entry: 4/22/2013
Week of 4/22: The Thursday group this week wanted to play the psychiatrist and challenge each other to ask questions, make observations, and use deductive logic in their attempts to determine what "illness" each of the participants had. Both the Thursday group and the Saturday group solved Venn diagrams created by Mr. Coleman and then were divided into groups to create their own Venn diagrams using various toys. Groups met in secrecy and looked for characteristics that could be used to group toys into overlapping categories that the other groups would then need to solve. The Saturday group also participated in a scavenger hunt outside in the beautiful weather.
